ISU beats Bemidji State

It wasn't a pretty game, but the first game of the season never is.  Blaylock looks much improved.  Stinson is well Stinson.  Staple looked faster this year and more in control.  Homen was about the only person to make a free throw.  Neil hit a couple of threes but if he wants to keep starting he will have to be more consistent.

The thing that really suprised me about the game was that we really have depth.  It would be hard to say who of the new guys played best.  They all looked good and I'd say it really adds depth.  I'd say going 9 deep on the bench would be easy and no drop off from #6 to #9.  Agnew will be a crowd favorite, but I don't see him getting much playing time this year.
